We’ll shortly be publishing Bill the director’s blog about the highs and lows of making a low budget feature. Often filmmakers are quite guarded about how and why they made their productions, but we figure other filmmakers might get some handy tips or at the very least learn from our mistakes, so the blog will be fairly frank and hopefully entertaining.
It’ll be released in 5 instalments:
THE BEGINNING – What made us decide to do it and how we settled on this particular project.
WRITING AND PREPRODUCTION – How we constructed a script around what was available to us.
THE SHOOT – 11 days without sleep.
POST PRODUCTION – Finishing a film with no money.
GOING FORWARD – What we did with the finished film.
